Is 104 too high for a fasting blood sugar reading?

104 is not a really high reading, but the recommendations now for a non- diabetic are below 99 when fasting. I know it only seems like a slight difference, but I’ve diagnosed many diabetic patients by doing the 2 hour glucose tolerance test when there fasting sugar was between 100- 110. The only way to really be for sure is to have your Physician order a 2 hour hour glucose test. During that test you will drink a really sweet drink full of sugar and will then have your blood drawn 1 hour later to see how well your body handles the sugar.

What can we do to kill a pesky rose bush?? It’s looking kind of sickly and gross and has become a real weed, what should I use to kill it?

That rose is jinxed! You must chop it up, preferably with an axe, as soon as you can!! It’s weedy ways are taking over Yahoo! Yikes! Don’t give up hope yet Hala, with a little faith the weed will be gone soon and Yahoo- AHEM- your garden will look lovely again!! ;)

I wouldn’t bury it in the ground Fluffycat, it might contaminate the soil! I think you should burn it. he he ^_^

Roses are normally such beautiful flowers, but in this case(having seen a photo of this rose), it is obviously past its best and I don’t think there is anything you could do to make it beautiful, there is no hope!
I agree with the suggestions so far, especially getting an axe and then burying it in the ground, at least it will feed the bugs!
Weed it out!!!!

Have made a garden on top of Kikuyu a very invasive deep rooted grass ,by covering it with cardboard,them compost and then grew pumpkins and lemon grass on top .
Never saw the grass again .except at the edges

Poisons like weed killers, leech into the ground and eventually make their way to subterranean water sources.

And comes back to us.-

rose bush is easy.

just chop it off at the ground
then dig in and destroy the root
with a pick axe.

Question to all computer Technician,/computer whiz….?

just wondering, do you “MUST” have updates running on your computer for it to work effectively, or is it really a waste of memory and time, i was wondering b/c i am having problems with my sound on my computer, and i wiped everything off my computer and ever since i did that, i have very minimum programs running now, and now my sound is working so far fine, it hasn’t shut off since, but i am questioning if i should allow the updates to run or if it’s adamant that i allow it.i want as minimum programs running on my computer as possible .Pls reply if you have any professional knowledge about this kind of stuff,thanks!

It is not neccessary to perform Windows updates (if that’s what you mean). There are some circumstances, however, that would warrant downloading an update (ie; security threat). For advanced users, updates are not mandatory because we know what we need and what we don’t. For beginners, I would recommend at least updating to the latest service pack. As far as patches and updates between service packs, it’s rarely anything you’ll need.

Updates are usually recommended, especially security updates. I never have them automatically install. In Windows, I have it set so updates download automatically but I must review over them to install. That way I know what I’m installing and whether I need it or not. System updates are not a waste of time.

It’s a mica-clay-like mineral, an aluminosilicate that forms in sheets. It is an expandable mineral and thus is used for insulation and fireproofing quite frequently. Should Knee High Nylons be worn with 3/4 Pants?

Why would you want to wear nylons with pants? Absolutely not, as a matter of fact you should try going commando in your 3/4 pants, it’s great!

I personally think it looks tacky.
To me it looks like your pants just go leg tight into your shoes. :|
It doesn’t look attractive to me.
If you want to wear shorts, capris pants, 3/4 pants, then I’d wear ankle socks.

………….

I would not risk it. There could be a situation - getting in or out of the car where the pant could work up you leg and expose bare skin. Better wear full length.

How can I increase my vertical jump?

I need to increase my vertical jump just 5 inches. How could I do it? And how long do you think it will take?

they now have velcrow weights that u can attach to your ankels while u play and just during everyday activities. when u take them off your jump will increase.
you also just have to workout your leg muscles by going to the gym and by running
i can not say how long it may take to increase your jump

here is a true story, not sure if it will help but it helped bruce lee….

When bruce lee died he was able to jump 6 verticle feet from a stand still. Here is how trained…

He dug a whole in his back yard big enough to fit himself, something like 3 by 3. and he started with a depth of 1 foot, once he was able to jump in and out of it forward and backward, he dug it another foot…. He went on like this untill he finally came too 6 feet, he was able to jump in and out of a 6 foot hole in the ground…. amazing

now to get 6 feet took him many years, but to add 5 inches or more should take much longer than a season… jump your heart out man! the hops will come

I am 6′6″ tall and when in high school, I could dunk from directly under the basket and could slam dunk from three steps off the foul line. Elbows above the rim. I accomplished this by many repetitions of jumping exercises with light weights on my ankles. Also did many thigh strengthening exercises, like wall sits and half squats. Also jump and tap the ball off the backboard trying to get higher with each set of reps, even if only a fraction of an inch at a time. Keep at it. But you have to actually leap repetitively in order to attain good vertical ability. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR KNEES. IF THEY START TO BOTHER YOU, STOP THE EXERCISING AND REST THEM. Knee injuries are so common for this reason.

HELP steet legal yz 125?

ok i have called my dmv, i have looked online, i have checked this site and no one can be sure

*I AM TRYING TO DETERMINE IF I CAN MAKE MY YZ 125 STREET LEGAL

i know it doesn’t have a powerful enought alternator but for 80 bucks baja designs can do it,

*can a 2 stroke be street legal here in colorado
*also i am pretty sure the 125cc engine is strong enough to be street legal but once again any ideas?

i know i need one mirror, a horn, a brake light, and a headlight and license plate
anything else?

idk about colorado,but in va all u also need a speedometer

How much is the voltage used by a petrol engine?

To burn the petrol in a petrol engine, an electric spark is given by a “spark plug”. How much of a voltage is used by plug to generate this spark?

What is the range of the voltage?

A. 12v - 24v
B. 1200v - 2400v
C. 20000v - 30000v
its a lot of volts, Forgot the exact range, but its in the Kilovolts. I think 10-20?
